The busiest days for a fitness center is right around new years…People make new years resolutions, feel guilty about all the parties that might have caused weight gain over the holidays, and decide to get back to the gym.
Unfortunately, for most, that doesn’t last that long.. They go for few days/weeks and then drop off again.
Here is a tip that I learnt from an expert.
Get your why visual in front of you all the time.
So when it does get hard and it is a long day, u look at those why artifacts [pictures, letters, curses, insults, encouragements, whatever got you going at the first place…….]. Better still, keep them around all the time so it keeps you on your toes all the time.
And don’t fall into the trap of….I remember all of it. So I don’t need to keep it in front of me.
Most don’t track daily, weekly, monthly progress wrt pre-set goals. So there is no way of course correction, adjustment of roadmap to ensure successful accomplishment of objectives at the end of the year.
Get a coach that can watch out for blind spots especially when the times get tough. ,
